Agility Physiotherapy specialises in providing a caring and comprehensive assessment and treatment in the comfort of your own home
This may follow a period of illness, surgery,
a neurological event or fall. We can offer the convenience of ongoing rehabilitation at home.
Agility Physiotherapy provides rehabilitation to optimise movement, walking, activities of daily living, balance, confidence and fitness. We can also help to manage pain. We work towards specific, achievable and realistic goals within an agreed time-frame.
We tailor the assessment and treatment to you,
your specific environment and condition, and we can arrange appointments on a day and at a time convenient for you.
At Agility Physiotherapy we work in accordance with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy’s code of Professional Values and Behaviours and this includes complete confidentiality.

What to expect
An initial examination will take approximately
45-60 minutes. We will take a detailed medical history and discuss your current complaint before doing a full physical assessment. You should wear comfortable clothing and are welcome to have a friend or family member present.
We will discuss our findings with you, draw up a treatment plan and leave you with some advice and exercises in most cases. We often provide individualised exercise programmes to complete between visits where this is appropriate.
Where we work
Agility Physiotherapy works within a 10 mile radius of Amersham (Bucks) and Rickmansworth (Herts).
We have and are happy to work outside of these areas for a small extra charge and this would be discussed and agreed before your first appointment.

About Us
We're a team of professionally qualified and experienced physiotherapists. We are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP). We have Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks (previously CRB) through our current employment.

I graduated from London South Bank University in 2006 with a First class Honours degree in Physiotherapy and have worked at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) in London, Buckinghamshire NHS hospitals and The Peace Hospice in Watford. I have worked in all areas of physiotherapy and have extensive knowledge and experience of working with older people, orthopaedics and rehabilitation.
I participate in regular training in order to optimise my skills and keep abreast of current evidence and research. I am a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Oncology and Palliative Care.
I also have specialist training in Sports Massage which I have been practicing since 2002 and have subsequently qualified as a Scar Tissue specialist.
My passion is helping people achieve their full potential. I love treating people in their own homes as it enables us to set goals that are meaningful and relevant to help people restore or maintain mobility and independence.

I graduated with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University in 2002
and have worked in several London NHS trusts including UCLH, Islington PCT and Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Trust.
I have worked across many specialities but particularly enjoy seeing patients in their own homes, where the assessment and treatment can be more relevant to their situation.
More recently I have worked at the Chilterns Multiple Sclerosis Centre and Bucks Healthcare NHS Trust as a Senior Physiotherapist in Orthopaedics and the community.
I am particularly interested in falls prevention and balance issues and use evidence-based research to guide my practice in this and other areas of physiotherapy.

I have recently completed courses in Pilates (APPI) and Tai Chi and like to incorporate them into my practise.
My aim is to fulfill every patients potential, to work jointly towards goals and to make therapy sessions varied, enjoyable and relevant.
Physio fees
Initial assessment
and first treatment £100
Follow up treatment £80
The fees are based on one session with one Physiotherapist. We require all new patients to undergo an intitial assessment on their first session.
You may only require a one-off assessment or may feel a course of sessions may be more appropriate.
We will always discuss the best course of treatment with you and this can be in conjunction with your family if you would prefer.
There may be occasions where it is more appropriate to have two physiotherapists present, depending on manual handling requirements or your medical situation. This may affect fees although we will always discuss this with you first if and when it is necessary.
Once a booking is arranged we do require a 24 hours cancellation period. Failure to give appropiate notice
may result in payment or part payment of the missed session. We are aware that sometimes unforeseen circumstances occur that prevent you giving appropriate notice of cancellation. In such circumstances we will discuss this situation with you.

We accept payment either by cash, cheque or bank transfer and ask that this is to be paid at the end
of each session.
